About

I’m an ecosystem PhDoctor; wetlands are my patients. I live in California and most of my current work is in the Sierra Nevada and north Coast Range. I can be reached by:

Goals
Investigate how plants, water, and soil interact to form and maintain mountain wetlands.

Identify the disruptions that sever these stabilizing interactions, tipping an ecosystem into a degraded state.

Intervene with restoration actions to reestablish the interacting forms and processes that create naturally self-sustaining ecosystems.
